What is AfriSIG?
Since its inception in 2013 in Durban, South Africa, AfriSIG has been at the forefront of internet governance education and leadership development in Africa. The most recent edition, AfriSIG 2024, was successfully held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, alongside the African IGF.
Over the years, AfriSIG has trained a diverse group of leaders and experts from government, business, academia, media, the technical community, and civil society. The program promotes a multistakeholder approach, ensuring that participants can contribute effectively to national, regional, and global discussions on internet governance and digital policy.
