Eligibility Criteria
This program is open to African journalists currently working in the industry. Ideal candidates should have:
🔹 Proven journalism experience, including digital or social media reporting
🔹 Strong storytelling skills with the ability to develop original narratives
🔹 Broadcast experience (preferred but not mandatory)
🔹 Excellent voice and presentation skills for on-air roles
🔹 A deep understanding of current affairs across Africa – including politics, business, culture, and sports
🔹 Fluency in English (spoken and written)
Additional Requirements:
📌 A CV (max. 2 pages) must be submitted with the application
📌 Applicants must hold (or obtain) a valid passport by March 31, 2025
📌 Selected candidates must be able to commit to the full three-month program
📌 Participants must secure employer approval for temporary leave if currently employed
📌 A UK degree-equivalent qualification is required for visa approval
