The McGill Entrance Bursary Program is designed to assist:
- Newly accepted, first-year, first-degree undergraduate students
- Newly accepted, first-year direct-entry undergraduate students entering professional programs in Medicine and Law (with a prior degree)

To qualify for the Entrance Bursary Program, applicants must:
- Be entering McGill University for the first time as a full-time student
- Be in financial need, as determined by your family’s income and other financial factors
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or an international student (in some cases, consideration is extended)

- You can apply even if you haven’t yet accepted your offer of admission.
- The bursary application is located in the My Financial Aid and Awards menu on Minerva, McGill’s online student portal.
- Students are encouraged to apply within 30 days of receiving a formal acceptance, but the final deadline is June 30, 2025.

To access the bursary application on Minerva:
- Use your McGill Identification Number (ID) and Personal Identification Number (PIN) to log in.
- New users: Your default PIN is your date of birth in YYMMDD format.
